Sherrie Rain has been teaching students with severe reading disorders from first grade through high school for 45 years. She has helped students in private and public education, as well as home-schooled students. Sherrie also trains teachers, tutors, teacher’s college candidates, and parents in her strategies.

(Amazon) It provides a sequence of steps to follow, each supported with her very successful tips, tricks, and creative techniques, explained in detail so that even someone new to the science of reading can follow them. Catlin Goodrow has been working in the field of education since 2003, as a teacher, literacy coach, curriculum writer, and designer of professional development.

Her areas of expertise include the science of reading, culturally relevant teaching, and working with early career educators.

Catlin is also the author of Reading Beyond the Basics: Key Routines for Engaging, Research-Informed Instruction in Grades 2-6 (Solution Tree). Catlin lives and works in Spokane, Washington.

Nora Chahbazi, B.S., is the Founder of EBLI (Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction).

Over more than 2 decades, Nora has trained and coached thousands of educators from all 50 states and dozens of countries in EBLI. She has taught EBLI to learners of all ages and ability levels.

She has presented at conferences, including Plain Talk for Literacy and The Reading League. Nora served as the literacy consultant for the documentary The Truth About Reading.

She is on the board of The Reading League Michigan and has appeared in various media, including Emily Hanford’s radio documentaries, the PBS documentary "Building the Reading Brain," and an interview on Oprah Radio with Maya Angelou.

Dr. Marnie Ginsberg is the founder of Reading Simplified, whose mission
is to support busy, overwhelmed teachers to learn a research-based system
of effective and efficient instruction that accelerates all students’ reading achievement.

Marnie’s surprise at finding so many of the middle school students in her classroom reading well below their grade, spurred a passion for finding and disseminating solutions.

What followed included private tutoring, university research, the creation of an evidence-based reading program, and ultimately the development of Reading Simplified.
